Maplith Bridge

Security notices and release news, by email.

Maplith Bridge never calls home: it sends no telemetry and checks for no updates, so we cannot tell you about a security fix unless you ask us to. This page is where you ask. It is optional, and you can stop at any time.

Coming soon

Sign-up opens when our privacy policy describes this list. Until then this page collects nothing. The Bridge’s security advisories are published on its GitHub repository in the meantime.
What you get

What we send, and how often

Security notices
When a vulnerability affects a released version of Maplith Bridge: what is affected and what to do. Sent as soon as there is a fix or a workaround, and only when there is one to tell.
Release news
A short note when a new version of Maplith Bridge is released, at most once a month.
Nothing else
No newsletter and no offers. Your address is used for this list only, and it is never sold.
The sender

Who sends it

Maplith, the company that makes Maplith Bridge, from [email protected]. The mail goes out through Resend, our email provider. The emails carry no tracking: no pixel and no redirected links.

Unsubscribe

How to stop

Every email has an unsubscribe link, and your mail app’s own unsubscribe button works too. One click takes you off the list. We delete the address 7 days later, and keep only a proof that you had agreed, without the address (below).

Your data

What we keep

Your email address, the sentence you agreed to and its version, and when you signed up, confirmed and unsubscribed; until you confirm, also when and how many times we sent the confirmation email. No IP address. An address that is never confirmed is deleted after 7 days.

When you unsubscribe, we delete your address 7 days later. If you had confirmed it, we keep a proof that you agreed for 2 years after you unsubscribe, so we can show that the emails we sent were ones you asked for: the version of the sentence you agreed to, when you signed up, confirmed and unsubscribed, and a coded fingerprint of your address made with a secret key. The fingerprint cannot be turned back into your address, and without our key it cannot be matched against a list of addresses; we can only find the proof if you give us your address again. Then it is deleted.

Our privacy policy says how we handle personal data and what your rights are.
