Turn sales calls into follow-up drafts
Authorised call input
The workflow would start from a call summary the rep already has: notes typed after the call, or a summary from a meeting tool the company has authorised. Maplith does not record calls and does not transcribe them, and this page does not propose that it would.
The proposed workflow
- Read the summaryThe authorised summary, and the account and contact it belongs to, by the keys the map gives.
- List the recorded commitmentsWhat each side said it would do, as the summary records it. Nothing is inferred beyond the summary.
- Draft the follow-upA short message that restates the commitments and proposes next steps, in the company’s voice.
- Suggest timesSuggested times for the next conversation, as suggestions in the draft. Not confirmed availability, not an invitation, not a booking.
- Save the draft in the CRMOn the right account and contact, as a draft. Nothing is sent.
An example, ending at the draft
A rep finishes a call and writes four lines of notes: the customer wants a quote for two seats, asked about the data processing terms, and suggested talking again next week. The workflow would produce a draft that confirms the quote is coming, points to the data processing page, and suggests two times next week. The draft sits in the CRM on the account. The rep reads it, changes what is wrong, and sends it, or does not.
Who would do what
CRM destination
The draft would be saved on the account and contact the summary names, through the access your agent has to the CRM.
Rep review
The rep reviews every draft. The workflow would never send a message, send an invitation or book a meeting.
What Maplith would supply
Which CRM record the call belongs to, by which key, and the record of the draft the agent reported saving.
What is out of scope
| Part | Today |
|---|---|
| Call recording or transcription | Not supplied by Maplith, and not proposed. |
| Sending, inviting, booking | Out of scope. The proposed workflow ends at a draft saved in the CRM. |
The sales team page shows what the worked examples hold today for sales teams. See Maplith for sales.
